本文的目标是梳理益智游戏（尤其是电子益智游戏）的类型。

概念和语源#

益智游戏，英文叫Puzzle, 或Puzzle game。相关的概念还有模式猜想(Pattern Guessing)和猜谜(Riddles)。也许译作“解谜”游戏更合适。

英语puzzle的意义引申过程大概是这样的：
